I have met a group of kids who inspire me endlessly. They have so many ideas flowing through their young minds … they want to find a way to do whatever it is they are thinking. They found the right place to have some great mentors that are willing to help them achieve their ideas.
These kids know no bounds. They are the hardest working kids I’ve ever seen.
They care about the world, care about the future, and are eager to do something about it. They ARE doing something about it. They care about their education. They want to do their best in school .. and be the best. They have dreams of going to college and achieving so much in life. They want to help the community and give everything they can. They actually want to make the world a better place. And, they believe they can do just that.
I have been inspired. I am so lucky to have been put into this position, to be able to work so closely with them, to be a part of their lives. I have enjoyed it so much. Over the years, I have seen them go from “what’s a Phillips-head screwdriver?” to designing an entire robot from start to finish. I have watched them go off to their dream college and start their new and exciting lives. They inspire me.
