FRC (grades 9 – 12)

FIRST FRC

FIRST FRC (FIRST Robotics Competition)

This is the top program that FIRST offers.  FRC is geared towards students ages 14 – 18.

Every year FIRST gives high school students a challenge.  Students have 6 weeks from start to finish to complete the task.  Once the 6 weeks is over the team must put the robot into a bag.  They are not allowed to touch it until competition day.

TIME COMMITMENT

All teams are run differently.  Most will meet a few times a week during January – April and once a week the rest of the year.  Students should invest as much time as possible to get the most out of the program. Teams rely on the students to be at the meetings to finish tasks needed.
